If your horse makes a clear inhalation noise that impairs its performance, our clinic offers the option of laryngeal whistle surgery. Here, the paralysed vocal cord is surgically fixed and the vocal sac is also removed. After a 6-week break, the horse is usually able to regain optimum performance under sporting stress.
